Tudor Masonry uses a range of structural repair products - such as Helifix stainless steel ties - that enable us to provide solutions to masonry failure problems. Approved by Helifix UK, Tudor Masonry is able to install all the reinforcement systems offered by Helifix efficiently and cost effectively. We also try to ensure that the work is concealed as far as possible and that minimal disruption is caused to our clients.
The priority in our approach to structural repairs is one of conserving the aesthetics of the building and properly restoring masonry thus preventing further deterioration.
Over time, buildings can suffer from ground movement, settlement, weathering from age or cracking from increased loads. The products in the Helifix Reinforcement System work by tying the unstable masonry together and providing the appropriate level of lateral and vertical restraint to reintroduce structural integrity to the building. Helifix systems allow the building to be repaired, yet left virtually unmarked. In many circumstances, the building occupants can remain within the building whilst the work is in progress.
